What is a Jamboree?

The Australian Scout Jamboree is a national event for Scouts. It is a 10-day camping experience that involves a wide range of activities, challenges, and events designed to promote personal growth, community involvement, and leadership skills.

When is AJ2025?

AJ2025 is happening between 6th to 15th of January 2025. Following this event, Scouts Australia are transitioning to a four-year cycle for Jamborees. This means the subsequent Jamboree will take place in 2029.

Why do I need to do an EOI?

An expression of interest (EOI) is a way for you to signal your potential interest in participating in the event before the full applications are open. Submitting an EOI does not commit you to attending the event, but it does allow us to gauge interest and helps us in our planning efforts.

When you submit an EOI, you will be asked to provide basic information about yourself. This step also ensures that you’re among the first to know when full applications open, giving you a head start on the process.
